      Are these kept in a freshwater pool? It's strange to see them amongst water plants.

      @MonkeyBat They do indeed live in freshwater. They have always been living in it, just like the fur seals that also live in the zoo. They are fed saltwater fish with vitamin/salt tablets. Because fresh water can cause eye problems, they are trained to receive eye drops.
