gentle lemur i know you have a passion for photography , i was wondering whether you saw the winner of the wildlife photographer of the year award? the winning photo was of a sulawesi maquaqe a similar species , the photo was fantastic

I haven't caught up with this year's winners yet - the quality of the winning photos always makes me feel that none of mine are even half as good
Zoo photography is much easier than shooting in the wild (at least it is most of the time).

Thats interesting gentle lemur my friend , have you ever sent some of your photographs to be judged by the competition ? , i have entered it once with some photographs of some Wild howler monkeys i took down in Nicaragua in the Montibelli reserve , but unfortunately they werent good enough , it would be interesting if i tried to enter it again though

Isn't the competition for wild animals only? Mind you, you've got some fantastic shots of peregrines in the wildlife gallery GL.
And I suppose photographing wildlife, whilst more demanding, is that bit more exciting when it just appears for you: Take this one I took this Summer of Fallow Deer in the New Forest.

I'm trying to take better photos of wild animals - zoo photography is a good way of training your eyes and your body to use your equipment better. This autumn I hope to shoot wild geese, swans and grey seals with my new 500mm lens. They should be better than the photos I have taken before.
