This picture looks like it was taken in the early 80's.
Hagenbeck is a park with such an unique landscape, one of the most beautiful in europe.

Wow, awesome picture! Jealous of the German snow now :(
    • Eagle
Don't be jealous, the traffic today was so horrible, you need more than twice the time to come from point a to point b, than the other days..

Ha, it's still like that where I live and we've only got a light sprinkling of ice! Britain is really badly prepared for cold weather...

Beautiful shot - the snow really makes it. This looks like it could have been in the wild.

I have a photo from my visit in 1991 or 1995 with Barbary Sheep on the Himalayan Mountain, or what seems to be the Himalayan Mountain, the photo is taken at the roots. Of course it would be rediculous to place North African mammals in a Himalayan setting but I wonder if the Tahr came later or maybe if I saw the Barbary Sheep in a different exhibit?

No, the barbarysheep were since the 70s on the big rock. On the one whitch is now himalayan were fernandez-goats and then tahr.
