      Looks like a very large exhibit. Is the reputation of hippopotamus being an aggressive species in captivity a carry over from the days of small enclosures? I can think of a few European examples of hippos sharing their space with antelopes where there is space for the smaller species to escape to. Obviously hippos can be moody but maybe with enough space and food it isn't such a concern.

      @PAT Hippos are notably aggressive species in what seem to be all circumstance.
      I think it's a risk that the park takes, but with the exhibit being about 14 hectares big, The availability of food and the amount of space gives enough room for all the species to stay out of each other way.
