Interesting how since Jambo's death, Jersey now hardly ever breed Gorillas, whereas they bred many in the past and 'Jersey-bred' gorillas are well represented in many zoo groups wordwide.

Ya Pili was their last birth to my knowledge and she died aged 4. Ya Kwanza is very unproductive as a breeder.

Do they have a breeding male atm?

Ya Kwanza is the male. He had only two offspring, Mapema and Ya Pili, both by the female in this photo(who was born at Jersey herself.)

Ya Kwanza won't breed with their other females and I'm not sure if he can breed at all any more since he had an operation for testicular problems(may have been cancer?) and had one removed.
