      @drill I don't think so compared with the photos I have of that species. The Pinon has the distinctive bare red skin around the eyes and more patterning on the wings. I wonder if this is an immature of some kind.

      Quite sure its a Pink-headed imperial-pigeon ( Ducula rosacea ), prob. indeed a younger bird.
      Another posibility could be Island imperial-pigeon ( Ducula pistrinaria ) but the color of the wing is much lighter as it should be for this species.
      However 100 % sure its NOT a Pinon !

      @vogelcommando My suspicion is that it was an immature D. rosacea but since I've never seen one before I couldn't be certain. Thanks for that. Any ideas about the other two?
