Indianapolis Zoo - Guinea Baboon Exhibit

July 2008. Nicely laid-out habitat, with shade, water, huge rocks and a moderate amount of land. What would make it better is if the enclosure were on some type of island so that zoo visitors didn't have to gaze through wire or mesh to see the active baboons.

      It does look nice. Do you know how big it was?

      I don't know what the square footage is, but I see from the photo that it's packed with baboons. It looks like there are 7 in the photo, and at least a few more that were scampering around the rocks. I'd call the habitat above average, but the mesh does make it tough to view the animals.
