Any bovid is always a pleasure and Javan Banteng in particular. Saint Louis was the only zoo in the US where I saw this species last year if I remember correctly.
Almost any bovid-I've seen enough domestic sheep, goats, and domestic cattle to last me a lifetime. I also beleive this is the only Javan banteng, but there are a few others of that species.
The only Javan Banteng? Wouldn't their whole herd be Javan Bantengs? There are very few Borneo or Burma Bantengs in captivity, if any. The Banteng in the US are listed under the Javan sub-species or under just Banteng and there aren't ISIS listings for the two other sub-species. Though oddly ISIS does list one female hybrid Banteng for Saint Louis...
