      It was cool to watch, until...

      The herd was hanging out in a wash across from me near a wall from some houses on the other side. Then a woman came out her back door and started feeding them over the wall. I yelled at her not to feed them and told her it is illegal, which she seemed ignorant of. She then asked me if it is ok to put water out for them and I said no. I hope she got the message but if I see her doing it again I will report her to Arizona Game & Fish (and I know for a fact they do cite people for this).

      @Arizona Docent yeah. I suspect that’s why the moose frequenting my yard seem to recognize the sliding glass door. I’m certain one of the cheechako’s up from California or Texas has been feeding them. Illegal and ill advised. ADF&G will cite folks here for inadvertently feeding wildlife let alone intentionally doing so.
