      I would say it could be lighter coloration however the overexposition is deceptive. It's a little bit funny to me because today I discovered an article "Population of endangered ocelots discovered In Sonora near Arizona border" (however can't read it...) and I was greatly impressed by the pattern of a cat showed in the photo (from a phototrap; such a big rosettes with wide, lighter gaps between each other. I would expect that in that population, but it still impresses me). @Arizona Docent may you know that photograph? It was linked in the article and I haven't find it elsewhere.
      (It's my milestone in my forum-life - the attaching photos in a comment section, so fingers crossed it will be aesthetically anyway:p)
