Juvenile Great Tailed Grackle?

Monte Verde, Costa Rica. First thought was maybe a mountain trush, but now I'm thinking it might be a juvenile Great Tailed Grackle. (Probably the most common bird in CR)

      Based on the head and bill it seems to be a grackle, not a thrush.
