Lagoon Jellyfish at SeaLife Berlin, 05/09/11

Mastigias papua Despite some interesting species, the jellyfish area is not to my taste - garish, colour-changing lighting obscures rather than illuminates, the signage for several species across half-a-dozen tanks on one single rotating computer screen is frustrating, the trademark curved glass of SeaLife makes photography hard and there are so many mirrors it's hard to be sure what is jellyfish and what is reflection.
