Lost Forest - Gorilla Tropics - Stone Partridge and Others Exhibit

November 2013. This exhibit contains snowy-crowned robin-chat, blue-capped cordon-bleu, stone partidge, black-billed wood-dove, gray-headed silverbill, and purple grenadier. This African-themed exhibit complex was opened in two phases in the early 1990’s (including the renovated Scripps Aviary) along with the Treetops complex of two restaurants and a shop (now an education room) and has 9 exhibits.

Back when this complex was new, I recall this enclosure being split in half with African Rock Pythons in one half and Garnett's Bushbabies in the other.

I think it works rather well for these little birds - allows visitors to get up close views of small finches and waxbills they would miss out on in other sections of the park
