As an American who enthusiastically "looks across our own borders" (enough with the stereotyping, please!), I agree that both Masoala and Burger's are among the very best indoor rain forests anywhere. Gondwanaland is also spectacular, but I was a little disappointed by the vast amount of not-very-good artificial rock and trees, and the poorly-disguised barriers in some of the exhibits. In a few years when the vegetation has really grown in, however, it will be unbelievable (in a good way). Curious to see Randers rainforest, which though smaller seems from photos to have a very nice feel.

I can only think of one enclosed rainforest building I've seen in Australia and that is the butterfly house at Melbourne Zoo. I guess we really don't need it. Even in Melbourne, where it does get a little bit cold in winter, all of the tropical species can be kept outside year round.
