      He is a young male A. pigra. When this young male primate saw me, he came up and started to display actively. he is definitely an animal that was an illegal pet confiscated by the PROFEPA, mexican enviromental authoroties. he was alone, which is understandable since a young male could not be integrated into the a. pigra groups at chapultepec zoo and the zoomat. Let us hope that the zoo authorities can locate a nice señorita howler monkey for him.
