      Great to see that they are finally rebuilding this! How far along are plans for a new indoor exhibit for gorillas and do they plan on keeping the orang-utans?

      They have other parts that need redoing way more recent than the apes. Just because the chimps escaped their exhibit they build this now before all the other stuff. So on a long shot it stays how it is, just with a new chimp enclosure.

      What would be more important to build than the ape enclosures? To me they seem like the by far weakest point of Hannover Zoo. However, I very much enjoyed Yukon Bay!

      And yes, we did have the bison burgers ;)

      Most important: Houses of giraffe, antelopes and stuff. They just fall apart and have material in them that is not the best for the animals.
