The Kelp Forest Exhibit at Monterey Bay is 28 feet tall and was the world's first ever living kelp community. I've never visited the Aquarium of the Pacific, but this exhibit in the photo is massive.

Both the MBA and AotP are very similar and probably very close partners. The current sea otters at the AotP belong to MBA. The only thing is that AotP is way newer.

Is this where they keep the Great White Sharks?

When the aquarium has great white sharks they keep them in the massive, 1-million gallon Ocean tank.

The Two Oceans Aquarium at Cape Town , South Africa , also has a large 'Kelp Forest' exhibit . Not as large as those in NA but still very impressive , with large specimens of unfamiliar local fish .
