Nahampoana - Collared brown lemurs

One of the three families of collared brown lemurs in the Nahampoana Reserve. This family consists of 2.2.1 members of which most can be seen in this shot. The males are sitting to the rear, the female in the front and the juvenile at the bottom. The Nahampoana Reserve is located just north of Fort Dauphin on the southeast coast of Madagascar. This reserve offers tourists and travelers a rare chance to see and get close-up with six different species of lemurs and other wildlife. January 2010
