Nahampoana - Tortoise enclosure

The enclosure for radiated tortoises in the Nahampoana Reserve. Seems almost ridiculously large compared to the ones found in western zoos. The Nahampoana Reserve is located just north of Fort Dauphin on the southeast coast of Madagascar. This reserve offers tourists and travelers a rare chance to see and get close-up with six different species of lemurs and other wildlife. January 2010
