      North Carolina Zoo, easily one of my 10 favourite zoos in the USA, is packed with high-quality exhibits and this one is no exception. The foliage has really filled in during the past couple of years...wow!

      @snowleopard Yes it has and almost all of the hot-wire bar the trees along the back fence has been removed. Its a different look compared to most Polar Bear exhibits, but both of the bears seem to really love it (Now if only they would breed, but we all know Polar Bear breeding). The amount of shade is great as well considering North Carolina's brutal summers. The zoos horticulture team has been doing some amazing work in recent years with this exhibit complex (which is essentially a conifer arboretum, with at least 15 labelled species), the new ocelot exhibit and more.
