      Do you know which species?
    • KEEPER
Well in fact, actually there are only seven.

The English names are the available in the signage:

      3 African:

      African clawed frog (Xenopus laevis)
      African bullfrog (Pyxicephalus adspersus)
      Golden mantella (Mantella aurantiaca)

      3 American:

      Pasco poison frog (Dendrobates lamasi)
      Phantasmal poison frog (Epipedobates tricolor)
      Blue poison frog (Dendrobates azureus)

      And one European:

      Mallorcan midwife toad (Alytes muletensis)

The 8th species are a 'mystery' :D for me actually.

      Thank you very much, Keeper.

Geat to see they are adding some more exhibits, this looks quite good.

Have any other exhibits been added to the Bioparc in the last year, or has it stayed the same?
    • KEEPER
The last exhibit open (before the amphibians) was the Kitum cave itself.

And thats the one with the hippo viewing isn't it?

Are there any more exhibits planned for the near future?
    • KEEPER
That's right .It's the exhibit for common hippos, Nile crocodiles and ciclids from Malawi and Tanganica lakes too.
      And (now) for amphibians.
No news about new exhibits in a near future.
There are no comments to display.
