New Fossa exhibit (coming soon)

The former Puma exhibit is being refurbished to house Fossa and should be ready by April or May. The puma is being phased out.

@Zooish Did you visit the Night Safari at this time too? How badly did they downsize the collection?

@Wyman Night Safari's collection hasn't changed much recently, save for the phasing out of mouflon and giraffe. But there will be some changes, some temporary, as construction for the new elephant and rhino exhibits and Rainforest Park South begin soon.

@Zooish New elephant/rhino exhibits in the Zoo or Night Safari? Where would they be located?

@Wyman Night Safari. The Indian rhinos will be taking over the site of the former giraffe exhibit. The elephant exhibit will be expanded into the area where the sambar and Indian wolf exhibits are.

@Zooish It's a shame that the sambar/Indian wolf exhibits would be taken over. At the same time, what's best for the elephants is paramount.
