New Part of Syrian Brown Bear and Corsac Fox Enclosure

Heidelberg Zoo 2021 This is the new Part of the Bear and Fox Enclosure. The Bear Enclosure is actually located Outside of the Zoo and everyone could See it for Free.There are 2 bears at Heidelberg Zoo mother Ronja and cub Merle that was Born in early 2021.

      I did See both bears on my visit and Merle was playing arround with her mother.

      It's interesting to learn of several European zoos with bear exhibits that can be seen from outside the zoo grounds.

      @snowleopard and this Enclosure does Not have the normal Brown Bears it is Home to the criticaly endangered Syrian subspecies. And by the way this Enclosure is also Home to Corsac foxes.


      Do North American Zoos also have Enclosures that you can View for Free?

      @German Zoo World At both New England Aquarium and Virginia Aquarium there are exhibits for Harbor/Common Seals that can be seen for free, but there's nothing as common as the bear situation at numerous European zoos.
