Interesting to see which species are kept nowadays in the Nocturnal House of TWP. I've been there ten years ago and it was one of the best nocturnal houses I've ever seen.

It still is in my opinion. Do you remember what the species line up was ten years ago?

If I remember it correctly, there were hare-wallabies in one of the first enclosures with some rodents nearby, then quolls (which I unfortunately didn't see) and brown bandicoots, and bats and small carnivores in the last part of the Nocturnal House.

The following mammals were kept in 2007 in the Nocturnal House of TWP (I have a list of the mammals I've seen in zoos):

      Short-beaked Echidna
      Fawn Antechinus
      Common Planigale
      Northern Quoll
      Northern Brown Bandicoot
      Northern Sugar Glider
      Arnhem Land Brushtail Possum
      Spectacled Hare Wallaby
      Ghost Bat
      Black Flying-Fox
      Least Blossom Bat
      Brush-tailed Rabbit-Rat
      Golden-bellied Water Rat
      Grassland Mouse
      Black-footed Tree Rat
      Northern Hopping Mouse
      Carpentarian Rock Rat

I can't recall seeing birds, reptiles or frogs, but some flyers I have of that time include photos of Tawny Frogmouth, Stone Curlew and Green Tree Frog.

That sounds like a pretty good line-up. Small dasyurids (and rodents) are really missing from collections in general atm.
