      The adders are the only snakes currently kept in a breeding situation at the Centre. The status of the three snake species is as follows:
      - Adder: A number of rescued adults and their captive-born offspring
      - Smooth snake: Two rescued adults, suspected to both be male
      - Grass snake: Only one rescued subadult, that has not been seen in some time
