      Actually, these are North American Black Bears.

      Jethro and Jed, although black bears, were brown and cinnamon in colour.

      This photo was taken in Bear Canyon.

      Oh, I did not know that. Only other black bears I've seen before were in the wild in Canada and they seemed smaller. I can't work out how to change the title....
