      Sure it is only a huge pile of sand...but it is an amazing introduction to the famous Desert Dome in Omaha.

      I think this is a waste of land.

      It's home to a pair of thick-knees (very cool birds), and is therefore one of the very few exhibits in the Desert Dome that actually gives its inhabitants room to roam. And it is a very spectacular experience to encounter as you enter.

      Even with the thick-knees in it, I'd agree with Mario's first comment.
