Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo - Desert Dome

July 2008. The mountain lion exhibit is at the top (and is far too small) and the rather impressive peccary/javelina exhibit is at the bottom.

I couldn't believe when I heard that all the mountain lions had was that cave/ledge exhibit. Is it the same for the servals?

The bobcats, mountain lions and servals all have tiny, crappy exhibits in the otherwise excellent Desert Dome. In fact, the huge big cat complex in a separate part of the zoo (the largest cat building in any North American zoo) is also terrible and should be bulldozed. The zoo is far from perfect, but still one of the 5 best on the continent.
