Oregon Zoo - Rocky Mountain Goat Exhibit

August 2008. Spectacular enclosure, and part of the zoo's Great Northwest set of habitats. This is the first and best part of the entire zoo, as all of the exhibits are fairly new and naturalistic.

Having visited the zoo three times now I've come to the conclusion that the entire Great Northwest area of the zoo is one of the best zoo exhibits in North America. The rocky mountain goat habitat serves as a wonderful introduction to what is the best part of the Oregon Zoo.

This looks fantastic. Is the Oregon North West section better than the one in Seattle, snowleopard?

@Cat-Man Oregon Zoo's best section, by far, is the Great Northwest. It's probably not quite as impressive as Woodland Park's Living Northwest Trail, but both zoos highlight indigenous species in a spectacular way.
