      Presumably for lions?

Looks like a pretty nice set-up, a series of connected enclosures for a single species. Were the other carnivores (hyena, maned wolf) housed in simar complexes? Were these adjacent or spread out around the hoofstock?

the route arround the park is basically a large figure 8, and all the carnivores are within the second loop.... if that explains it, each species has its own complex, hunting dogs, then wolves, lions, hyena. All set in a dense Redgum forrest on the banks of a river. Free ranging around them all are a large number of goats and a few guinea fowl which apart from keeping the area free of weeds and long grass, they also would be the carnivores future meals. Apart from the Giraffs which are also viewed on this (2nd) loop, all the other animals are on the other loop - hope this helps to understand it.
