This exhibit is probably double the size as to what is shown in this photo and it makes for an incredibly popular section of the aquarium. The two Harbour Seals meekly swim around together while the four Steller's Sea Lions emit a wild assortment of bellows and roars that echo across the pools. The outdoor section of Vancouver Aquarium has the following 9 species: Beluga Whale, False Killer Whale, Pacific White-Sided Dolphin, Harbour Porpoise, Steller's Sea Lion, Harbour Seal, Northern Fur Seal, Southern Sea Otter and African Penguin.
@Ebirah766 This particular exhibit actually does not have an underwater viewing area. Visitors can see beluga whales, northern fur seals, harbor porpoises, sea otters and penguins all above and below water...except for the inhabitants of the pool in this photo.
Darn. I really wanted to see them swimming around underwater but I guess we at least have the rarer steller's sea lions
