      Typical substandard Polar Bear enclosure of the time, when concrete painted white was all you needed...

      In those days every Australian zoo had at least one Polar Bear, even small private ones, like Natureland at Kirra - you could hardly call your place a zoo if you didn't have one (a bit like tigers now!)
