Why do I need to go all the way to the zoo to see rainbow trout when I can see them at the grocery store on the corner? ;)

Are they swimming at the grocery store?

interesting fact: in NZ all trout are recreational species (i.e. non-commercial) and it is illegal to sell or buy a trout or any part of a trout. You can go catch a trout yourself and eat it, but you cannot go to a shop or restaurant and buy it and neither can you sell any trout you catch. Breaching this can result in a fine of up to $10,000 and/or jail term of up to two years.

      :)
