      with the ratels ? you mean at howletts or at port lympne ? how did you find out?

      Roar. It's been a while since it was broadcast and even longer since it was filmed, so things are likely to have advanced.

      Marwell darlek thankyou for the information , one question..... what do you think the chances are of the parks continuing this species after the remaining ratel dies?

      I have no idea, but I do hope they continue to keep and hopefully breed this rare and fascinating species. Didn't see it when I went in May, but here's hoping for next time.

      i've been twice and have never seen them!

      damn! then in all probability it appears that the ratels could have died , i hope that the Aspinall parks bring in some more , it would be a great shame for them not to continue with this species

      Now at Howletts they have Tyson whom is a 4 year old honey badger who was aquirred 1 or 2 years ago. of recent 24 year old winnie died who is in the picture above.
