      @Great Argus Yes, although this photo makes it look smaller than it is I think. Some sort of foreshortening effect.

      If I remember right, I've read somewhere that Red-crowned cranes have the best breeding-results in captivity in medium sized enclosures. Too small or ( yes indeed ) too big enclosures have a negative effect on the breeding-results. So I guess the enclosure on the photo can be seen as a medium sized ( = about 300 to 500 m2 ) enclosure, the proof walking between the 2 parent-birds :).
