Replica of a coal mine - Interior, 2019-03-30
The coal deposits that used to be mined in the Limburg region were formed in a rainforest/marsh environment in the Carboniferous period. Hence why this reference to the geological and the economical history of the region serving as an entrance to the section with modern rainforest species.
