Since I know someone will ask, I took photos of all the identification signs so I could post the current species list (as of June 30, 2019). One of the arthropod exhibits was empty (with a sign inside denoting such) so one of these may be temporarily or permanently off exhibit. If you are wondering why there are no rattlesnakes, those are kept in a second reptile hallway on Arizona Trail. I did not look closely to see if all these signs accurately reflect current inhabitants, but assuming they do, here is the list:

      black widow spider
      tailless whip scorpion
      Arizona bark scorpion
      stripe-tailed scorpion
      Arizona walking stick

      desert millipede
      giant desert centipede

      Amphibians
      Sonoran desert toad
      Woodhouse's toad
      Great Plains toad
      Couch's spadefoot toad
      red spotted toad
      tiger salamander

      Reptiles
      Eastern patch-nosed snake
      thornscrub hook-nosed snake
      Western shovel-nosed snake
      night snake
      checkered gartersnake
      black-necked gartersnake
      milksnake
      Texas horned lizard
      regal horned lizard
