How big is this guy? Do you think the tank is good for this species - big enough, private enough, etc?
The pair are each about 2 feet long. Its a long, narrow an shallow tank, quite different from the few other giant salamander exhibits i've seen. There isn't any spot in the tank where the salamanders can fully hide from view.
