      They're probably going to lump this species back in with American Crow. They might not even keep it as its own full subspecies.

      Makes sense. I think as geography seems to be the most reliable method of telling which “species” of crow you’re observing.

      @Pleistohorse That's the only method. :p Calls were the traditional way of telling the two species apart in areas they overlapped, but even then it wasn't always reliable.
