      Acrylic glass tunnels are becoming much more common in zoos and aquariums all over the world, and to be honest I love them and think that they are brilliant additions to any exhibit. It is almost as if a visitor is inside the actual habitat, and seeing the creatures from a different perspective is spectacular!

      Rotterdam's is by far my favourite zoo-based aquarium (though Arnhem's Ocean is also pretty special) - this tank is fantastic.

      In terms of rarities, the star in this display is the Black-nosed Shark (Carcharhinus acronotus).
