Rough triggerfish, February 2016

I was thinking perhaps Canthidermis maculatus, but on checking photos I feel a bit lost.

Could it be one of the Balistes-species ?

Not the best pciture, but it could be Xanthichthys auromarginatus-Blue Throat Triggerfish., but I can't spot a blus throat on this pic.

Was there no sign at the Tank ?

Possibly Abalistes stellatus?

I'd say you got it right from the start: Canthidermis maculatus. I guess the combination of stress pattern (color) and sub-adult age (shape) can confuse.
