      @reduakari: you are usually similar to me in that at times we can both be extremely critical of zoo exhibits. However, you would love "Russia's Grizzly Coast", as the grizzly bear enclosure is one of the best I've ever seen, the sea otter exhibit is #1, the amur leopard trio of mesh enclosures are #1, and that leaves the wild boars, who as you point out have a fine-looking area to sink into the mud.:) No wonder this entire complex won the AZA Exhibit of the year award!
