I think most of the aquariums nowadays have a huge exhibition like this one.

Really? That would make it the biggest tank in the world, and this tank only surpasses the entire Georgia Aquarium by a long shot.

That would be really cool. Nowadays most aquariums have a main tank with around 500000 gallons, not 15000000...

Oops, my bad. Should be 16 million litres.

Georgia's Ocean Voyager tank is way bigger.

60 million litres is the capacity of the entire Marine Life Park (S.E.A. Aquarium + Adventure Cove Waterpark).

Well, 16 million litres is about 4 million gallons and the spectacular Ocean Voyager tank at Georgia Aquarium is about 6.2 million gallons. Still, Marine Life Park appears to be yet another amazing wildife attraction in Singapore, but it is too bad that the nation is so expensive to visit for tourists. No ZooChatter discount?:)

It´s still an impressive mark. Lisbon main tank is around 8 million litres and it´s the biggest of Europe (i believe) and is only half the size of this!

Still i don´t like the view of those windows at the back...

I go to Singapore quite a lot. Its not "so expensive". More expensive than neighbouring countries, but otherwise its fine.

are those windows into the tank the ones for the $3000 a night hotel rooms? (Unconnected to my previous post about Singapore not being expensive! ;))
    • reduakari
A very disappointing design that negates much of the impact of the impressive size of the tank and the main viewing panel.
    • Zooish
Yeah, those windows are the 11 Ocean Suites that cost $3000 a night. They're an absolute eyesore. I guess that's what you get when a casino operator builds an aquarium - they want to milk every cent out of the attraction.
