The exhibit will house up to 12 species of shark. In addition to those mentioned above, it is expected to house silvertip, creek whaler, sandbar and bamboo sharks as well.

So have tiger sharks been excluded from the collection plan?
    • Zooish
I've not come across any mention of tiger sharks in their collection plan.

They were frequently mentioned in early press releases, sometimes 'feeding 4-metre long tiger sharks' was included as a big draw. Although they publicly announced that there would be no whale sharks, I was under the impression that tiger sharks might still be included.

Perhaps the plan was dropped along the way or delayed as a future attraction. The largest species they have in their collection now are sicklefin lemon sharks that grow to just under 4 metres.
