Siamang Island . 7th October 2010 .

Both Lemur and Siamang Islands are totally undeveloped woodland around which ditches have been dug . The Siamang stayed in their House even though it was a warm afternoon .

Its a nice idea/ adequate but perhaps a network of ropes or horizontal poles between the mostly upright sapling trees would give them a lot more scope for swinging/using the trees and the space in the enclosure?

not to mention reduce the potential damage on the trees

True also. I just see these mostly upright saplings and think that the Siamangs can't swing around in them, just leap from one to the next and then cling on!
