There are five mixed aviaries for parrots that look basically the same, so I'm only posting a photo of this one as an example. The species list for these five aviaries is:

      - Alexandrine parakeet
      - Black-capped parakeet
      - Bourke's parrot
      - Cockatiel
      - Crimson rosella
      - Elegant parrot
      - King parrot
      - Princess parrot
      - Red-crowned parakeet
      - Regent parrot
      - Stanley rosella
      - Superb parrot
      - Turquoise parrot
      - Yellow-fronted parakeet

      ---

Skyttehushaven is a small seaside park/beach area in the Danish town of Vejle. Besides the greenery and sand, there's also a rotunda with aviaries for around 20 species of birds, mostly parrots, run by the local bird breeder's association. Unlike typical Danish park aviaries which usually only keep species like budgies and cockatiels, Skyttehushaven actually has a couple of species that are uncommon in public collections, like black-capped parakeet and elegant parrot.

The whole park, including the aviaries, recently went through a major reconstruction and modernization and had an official reopening in May 2019.

      June 2019.
