Slender-snouted crocodile

Good to see pics of the Oceanografic!!! Did you check on the walrus exhibit? What are they doing in there?

@SivatheriumGuy the former walrus enclosure now houses a couple of harbour seals and some Arctic seabirds. I wasn't able to observe them properly, or find what species they were, but they looked like seaducks. I hope that in the future we can perhaps have a species of Arctic seal; a bearded or ringed seal would be a sight to behold. The space is a bit crammed for walruses though, in my opinion.

@SivatheriumGuy I haven't, but those are a great addition! I didn't even notice them!

@JigerofLemuria They came from Living Coasts when said park closed... I guess they are still kept offshow?

@SivatheriumGuy I'm not sure, when were they moved there? It would make sense for them to be there. In any case, if they wanted to make that exhibit into one for seabirds, I strongly suggest lowering the water level and reforming the land area, making the whole thing resemble the penguin exhibit more, because let's face it, those animals don't dive underwater as much as seals and walruses do. It's hard to see them well from below.

@JigerofLemuria Would make most of the sense. Did you ID any of the seabirds alongside the seals? Maybe that can help us.

@SivatheriumGuy I unfortunately couldn't... Sorry about that, but the signing was unclear about what they were. I hope next time I visit I can read it up better.
