The Kalmthout Heath is a major heathland nature reserve north of Antwerp that is owned and managed by the Flemish government's Agency for Nature and Forest. The viviparous lizard (Zootoca vivipara) is patchily distributed in Flanders, like its heathland habitats. Made in 1957.
