Snow geese..... Canada Goose looks like what was formerly considered one of the smaller subspecies of Canada Goose, the Cackling Goose. This was before Branta canadensis was split into canadensis and hutchinsii.
Sorry, yes, they are cackling goose. To be specific, the signage lists them as small cackling goose (Branta hutchinsii minima). I have edited the title, thanks for spotting the error .
