Hey snowleopard - this new set of photos from Woodland park in April is absolutely brilliant and it enticed me to go through the whole gallery from this zoo! It really is very good zoo with many outstanding exhibits.
I'm glad that you like all of the hundreds of photos Dan! Now you don't have to walk through the zoo in person, as you basically did it all online...haha. My favourite exhibit is probably the grizzly bear enclosure, and the river otter/rocky mountain goat habitat is right next door to it. The Woodland Park Zoo has won more AZA Best Exhibit Awards than any of the other 220 AZA zoos except for the Bronx Zoo. Maybe people on ZooChat can understand why at times I am harsh in my criticism on other zoos...it is because they are extremely poorly designed in comparison to Woodland Park.
